Analysed operational, geospatial and mine action data to help plan and prioritise demining in the Kharkiv region. Collected and organised large amounts of data from state, commercial and humanitarian demining organisations about dangerous areas and survey and clearance progress. Worked with the data in IMSMA and ArcGIS Pro, and used SQL, Python and Excel to process and analyse it. Compared records from different sources to find gaps and errors. Prepared datasets, short reports and maps for planning and decision-making. Helped build a central regional mine action database and improve data quality.

Coordinated the Working Group on Advanced Demining Systems. Organised information exchange between government, humanitarian and technology partners and helped assess new technologies for demining. Also took part in community awareness activities about explosive ordnance risks.

Relief Coordination Centre | Kharkiv, Ukraine

Coordinated an explosive ordnance risk education project funded by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). Collected and managed project and monitoring data, tracked progress and checked that all documents were complete. Prepared reports for the donor and partners and stayed in regular contact with them. Supported more than 40 community awareness sessions. Helped prepare new project proposals and plans.

The HALO Trust | Multiple regions, Ukraine

Carried out non-technical survey (NTS) in many regions of Ukraine. Collected, checked and analysed field information about mines and explosive ordnance. Interviewed local people, recorded survey data in Survey123 and checked it for errors and missing information. Used field evidence and location data to describe suspected dangerous areas, and wrote NTS reports for clearance planning and risk assessment. Accuracy was critical, because the data directly affected safety.

Operated drones (UAVs) for mapping and remote area assessment. After promotion to Deputy Team Leader, helped prepare tasks, coordinate the team, manage staff and check the quality of field documents.
